The Challenge
Managing a 50 hour non-stop event creates massive logistical hurdles. Visitors struggle with choice paralysis due to simultaneous performances and often get lost within the expansive park grounds.
The Solution
A high performance mobile application designed to simplify the complex festival ecosystem through three core pillars:
Dynamic Planning: A real time "What’s On Now" feed and a personalized "My Agenda" tool that sends push notifications before selected shows start.
Spatial Awareness: An interactive GPS map that identifies stage locations, food zones, and facilities to prevent bottlenecks.
Resilient Data: Offline caching of the event database to ensure the schedule remains accessible even when high crowd density causes mobile network congestion.
Design Strategy
The interface utilizes high contrast visuals and bold typography to ensure legibility in both bright afternoon sun and low light night performances. Minimalist navigation allows users to find information quickly while on the move.
Results
The app successfully digitizes the festival experience, reducing paper waste from printed programs and improving crowd flow across the museum and park. It transforms a chaotic 50 hour marathon into a curated, navigable journey for every attendee.
